Joyce Ann Barber

Joyce Ann Barber, a beloved sister and friend, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, at Hospice of Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on July 12, 1957, Joyce grew up in a warm and loving family and graduated from Marian High School. She dedicated over three decades of her professional life to the insurance industry, proudly working at Anthem.

Joyce was known for her beautiful spirit, love of life, and passion for traveling. Whether exploring new horizons or crocheting cozy afghans for friends and family, she found joy in sharing her creations with those she cherished. Her warmth and kindness touched countless lives.

She leaves behind her beloved sisters, Marilynn Rupp and Kathleen Ludwig, along with their supportive spouses, Tom Rupp and Ralph Ludwig, and her treasured nephews, Scott, Joe, Mark, Matt and Tony. Joyce's legacy of love and creativity will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Joyce's life with a visitation at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton on June 5, 2025, starting at 9:00 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. After the service, Joyce will be laid to rest at 11:30 am at 1000 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249.

In lieu of flowers, Joyce's family kindly requests memorial donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House or Hospice of Cincinnati, organizations that align with her caring spirit. Joyce will be dearly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
