Joyce Ann Bunch

Mrs. Joyce Ann Bunch, age 81, of Goshen, loving daughter of the late William O. and Artie E. (nee Cornelius) Thomas was born September 21, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio. In the late 60's Joyce became a Christian, was baptized, filled with Holy Ghost and became a member of the Goshen Church of God Choir. Shortly after, she became an active member of the Full Gospel Business Women's Association. Joyce was employed in the field of Electronics. She was the President of the local union, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), for many years and was later offered the position of President of the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), in Washington, DC, as their National President. However, she turned down that position for the heartwarming job of grandmother and raised her two granddaughters, she was a wonderful mother-in-law. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Bunch, Sr., October 22, 2011 along with a sister, Betty Lou Ragland and brother, Clarence Edward Green. She is survived by their son; Bobby Gene (Alice) Bunch, Jr. the only child of their marriage, born on September 17, 1956, granddaughters, Mrs. Katherine Elaine Bunch-Zimmer, and Mrs. Alisha Dawn Melton-Berry, a great-grandson, William Berry, sisters: Emma Sue Choate & Butch, Linda Carol Choatie, Deborah Ione Tsonchev & Petar, Brother: William O. Thomas, Jr. & Cynthia. Services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, August 14, 2020 at the Evans Funeral Home, 1944 St. Rt. 28, Goshen 45122, with visitation for family and friends from 1:00 until the time of service. Reverend Steve Krebsfanger will officiate. Burial will follow in the Goshen Cemetery. Joyce Ann lived a full and happy life and made Heaven her home on August 10th, 2020 at 7:10 p.m.
