On Thursday, December 22 at 4:24 P.M., the feisty Jersey girl, 68, joined her mother, Florence Miller, in heaven. Joyce loved her family, first and foremost. She leaves behind two daughters, Jamie Anna Ervin and Ashley Kay (Justin William) Milburn. She had five grandchildren: Cyrus William Milburn, Kaylee Joyce Milburn, Verity Sky Milburn, Lincoln Thomas Milburn, and Edward Henry Ervin. Joyce was preceded in death by both of her parents, Lyle and Florence Miller, as well as her three brothers, Dick, Jim, and Roy Miller, and her husband, Edward Emmanuel Ervin, Jr. She leaves behind two older sisters, Betty (Dean) Fausnaugh and Patricia (Allen) Vandegrift, and Susan Bagnall who was like a sister to her. Joyce really enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, watching wrestling and movies, playing scratch-off lottery tickets, taking trips with friends, spending time and having grill outs with her family, and Point Pleasant Beach in New Jersey. Accepted are donations of either flowers or monetary donations to charities that were close to her heart: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Disabled American Veterans, or Veterans of Foreign Wars.
