With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Judith Ann Beck (nee Dietz), beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend who left her earthly body on Monday, August 12, 2024 at the age of 83 and entered into the communion of saints.
Judy was a beacon of love, kindness, selflessness, and devotion. She lived out her Catholic faith in everything she did. She dedicated her life to caring for others with a warmth and generosity that touched countless hearts.
As a mother, Judy nurtured her children with endless love and wisdom. Her role as a grandmother was equally cherished. She loved being with her grandchildren, imparting to them her values, her laughter, her joy, and her countless stories. Her family was the center of her world, and she left behind a legacy of warmth and love.
As a sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Judy was a source of unwavering support and joy. She especially treasured her Tuesday outings with her sister, Jeanne, enjoying each other's company while entertaining those around them with their wit and charm. Her relationships were marked by deep bonds and shared memories, and she will be remembered for her thoughtful and caring nature.
Judy’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her spirit will live on through the many lives she touched. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph Church in Cold Spring, KY, on Friday, August 16, 2024. The family will greet friends beginning at 11:00 a.m., and Mass will begin at noon, where we will celebrate her life and her enduring faith.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all those who have provided support and comfort throughout Judy's illness. We are especially grateful for her caregivers at The Summit of Edgewood. Their love and care for Judy were exceptional, and we are forever grateful.
