Judith Thalner

Judith Ann (nee Kataskas) Thalner, 72, of Milford, Ohio, passed away at home in the early morning of December 18th, 2016. Judy was born in 1944 in Rochester, New York, the daughter of Edmund and Helen Kataskas. While attending the State University of New York at Buffalo, she met and began dating Thomas Thalner. The two were married in 1965 and remained together until Thomas's death in 2014.

Judy attended high school at St. Agnes in Rochester, New York; for college, she attended SUNY at Buffalo with a degree in accounting. Although Judy spent most of her life as a devoted wife and mother, she also worked at a variety of jobs, including the school system in North Ridgeville, Ohio; Cooper Electric in Cincinnati, Ohio; and Waste Management in Van Buren, Arkansas. In her free time, she greatly enjoyed travel and liked to take weekends with Thomas to a variety of cities around America. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by daughter Pamela Thalner; son Michael Thalner; grandchildren Jackson, Charles, and Ava Thalner; and brothers Gerald and Leonard Kataskas. A visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 23rd, at Evans Funeral Home in Milford, Ohio, followed by Funeral at 11:00 AM. Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford, Ohio.
