Judith M. Turner, (née Embry) known affectionately as Judy, peacefully went to be with her Lord Jesus on August 19, 2024. Born on September 24, 1945 to the late Herman Embry and Erma (Prall) Embry. Beloved wife to the late Joseph W. M. Turner. Loving and supportive mom to Tammy (Lee) Newberry and the late Joseph W. Turner-"Bill." Her family was her world, and she took great pride in being a devoted Mamaw to Andrew (Brandi) Newberry and Emilee Newberry, as well as a cherished "GG" to Nevaeh, Benjamin, William, Leighana, Adilynn, and Aria.
She was preceded in death by her sisters Jo Ann Meyers and Barbara Trapp. Her love and contagious humor will be carried on by her sisters Joyce Parker and Bonnie Carter. She will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Throughout her life, Judy found solace and joy in the natural beauty of the mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She was a graduate of Clermont Northeastern High School in 1963. She later enjoyed the people in her community during her years working at Medarys in Williamsburg. She then took great love and pride in her many years working at the Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities until her retirement.
Memorial services in honor of Judy's life will be announced at a later date, providing an opportunity for loved ones to gather, remember, and celebrate her enduring spirit. Judy's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Evans Funeral Home, Milford was entrusted with the final arrangements.
