Karen Elaine Bush

Karen Elaine Bush, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and Registered Nurse with a 42-year legacy of compassionate care, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2024, in Loveland, Ohio, surrounded by her family. Born on February 11, 1962, in Covington, Kentucky, to parents William and Patricia (Grant) Whitton, Karen was a vibrant soul full of warmth and kindness.

Throughout her life, Karen cherished her roles as a dedicated caregiver and mother. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her profession as a nurse, where she brought comfort and healing to countless lives. Karen found joy in simple pleasures, relishing in travel adventures, shopping excursions, and the art of interior decorating. Her keen eye for design and her love for exploring new places enriched her life with many cherished memories.

Karen's loving presence illuminated the lives of her husband of 36 years, James Bush; her children Molly (Brian) Sheeley, Meghan Bush, Andrew Bush, and Nathan Bush, her grandchildren Caden, Aubrey, Ethan and Michael, along with her sister Julie (Eric) Murphy and brother Jeff Whitton.

In honor of Karen's remarkable life, the family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Milford, on Friday, May 17th from 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Columban Church in Loveland on May 18, 2024, at 10 am. Karen will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Miamiville.

Karen's legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in eternal peace, her memory a beacon of light to guide us through the darkness.
