With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth J Durham on July 27th, 2024, at the age of 70. Born on November 9th, 1953, in Hamilton, Ohio to his loving parents Earl and June Durham. Ken was a remarkable self-made individual whose life was filled with achievement, generosity, and unwavering faith. Ken’s entrepreneurial spirit took him far with many business ventures big and small. His career took him in many directions, each venture executed with the same spirit and dedication as the last. He began his career in real estate, opened a clothing store (“Go Together Shop”) and committed 36 years to serving his customers and families in the Insurance Business (“The Durham Family Agency”). After retiring from the Insurance Business in 2022, he began what his family would call his passion project as the CFO (Chief Fun Officer) of “Pedego Electric Bikes Cincinnati East”. His success and cherished customers are a testament to his drive and talent. A devoted Christian, Ken lived his faith with joy and sincerity. His belief in God was a guiding force, evident in his acts of kindness, compassion, and his commitment to helping others. According to his friends and family “Ken and his presence, was a one in a million type of human. He was genuine, sincere, fun, personable, intentional, smart, lively and people just loved being around him.” Ken was the life of every gathering. His energy, humor, and warmth made him a cherished friend to many, and his heart for others touched countless lives. He is survived by his beloved spouse of 42 years Brenda Durham; his children Becky (Matt) Stringer, Katy (Blake) Huelsman, K.J. Durham (girlfriend Jennifer); his grandchildren Jacob and Madelyn Stringer; his brother Jeff (Elaine) Durham; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Glen (Laura) Saylor, Debbie Scott and Susie (Anthony) Messer; many nieces and nephews and many extended family members. His many friends, colleagues and customers will deeply miss his spirited presence and kind heart. A celebration of Ken’s life will be held on Friday August 2nd, 2024, at 12:30PM in the Evans Funeral Home in Milford, Ohio. A gathering of friends and family will begin at 10:30AM. Flowers are welcome or alternatively the family requests donations be made to The American Heart Association in Ken’s honor. Ken’s legacy of love, laughter, and faith will continue to inspire all who knew him. May he rest in peace
