Kenneth Mallory Hopper, born on May 9, 1931, in Indianapolis, IN, peacefully passed away on October 20, 2024, at his residence in Milford, OH, surrounded by his loving family. His memory will be cherished by his devoted wife Bonnie Hopper. Kenneth's life was one of unwavering faith and dedication to serving others.
A man of great humor and kindness, Kenneth had a natural ability to bring joy to those around him. His love for the Lord was evident in every aspect of his life, as he touched the hearts of many through his ministry work. Before answering his calling, Kenneth operated as a skilled electrician, utilizing his talents to help those in need by working on numerous buildings and homes and continued helping others during his missionary work.
In 1990, Kenneth transitioned into missionary work with Bearing Precious Seed at the First Baptist Church of Milford, where he committed himself to spreading the word of God and providing aid to communities far and wide. His passion for leading others to the Lord shone brightly during his 18-year tenure as the pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN.
Kenneth is the beloved husband of Bonnie Hopper and the late Betty Hopper. Father of Kimberly (late John) Bridgitzer and Alisha (Bobby) Hopper. He is the step-father of the late Jerry (Pat) Ellis, Michael Ellis, James (Tammy) Ellis, Cathy (Donald) Ford, Richard (Leigh) Beckman and Sunday (Matt) Towles. Grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather of many.
The legacy of Kenneth Mallory Hopper will live on through his family, as a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. To honor his memory, a visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church of Milford1367 Woodville Pike, Milford, OH 45150, on Thursday, October 24th from 12 PM until the funeral ceremony beginning at 1:30 PM. The committal services will be at the Washington Park Cemetery, 10612 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229, on Friday, starting at 11 AM.
In his lifetime, Kenneth touched the lives of many and his memory will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
