Kim Meenach, 71, of Blanchester, Ohio, passed peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, at home with his family by his side. He is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Diane, who was his partner in life and best friend. Kim loved Diane deeply and took great pride in caring for her and their family, always making sure she was supported and loved. Their 42 years together were filled with dedication to one another, their three daughters, and the life they built as a family.
He is also survived by his daughters, Amber and Alyssa (DJ); and his grandchildren, Leland, Logan, Grayson, Tyler, Lyam, Kimberlyn, Trace, Gabe, and Devin. He is also survived by his siblings, Rich, Kandy, Vivian, Bryan, Tammy, and Mike, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashley; his parents, Clay and Audrey; and his siblings, Glenn and Janice.
Kim was born October 24, 1954, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Clay and Audrey Meenach. He left school at 17 to enlist in the Army, where he completed his education while serving his country.
Kim was a professional painter who took great pride in his work; however, he was most proud of his family. He loved nothing more than tinkering on his classic cars or Harley Davidson motorcycles and teaching his grandkids all things automobile. He was incredibly proud of his children and grandchildren and took every opportunity to tell others about them. Kim was always willing to help anyone in need, and expected nothing in return.
Kim will be remembered for his love of family, his generous heart, and the pride he took in caring for those closest to him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen on Wednesday, April 22nd from 5-7 PM.
