Obituary

Kimberly Ann Meyers (nee Barlow) of Lebanon, OH, transitioned to the eternal shores of paradise on July 8, 2026, surrounded by the enduring comfort and love of her family. Kim was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Vivian (nee Stone) and Vernon Barlow; the second of four children. When Kim was young, the family moved to West Chester, Ohio, where she met her lifelong friend, Penny. While attending Lakota Local School District, Kim became a proud member of the Lakota Lassie Drill Team; this led to a lifelong love of dancing and music.

Upon graduating high school, Kim was a gorgeous, vivacious young woman, working her way up in the business world. During this time, she met her best friend of 50 years, Winnie. Kim was a free spirit - she traveled, grew friendships and personal relationships, and drove her red nova, with a black vinyl top, as fast as she possibly could, usually to scare Winnie, just for fun, of course.

Kim was humorous, with a laugh that could be heard across the room. She was known for a good sense of humor, laughing until she cried and going along with the sarcasm. She was a lover of music - James Taylor, being one of her favorite musicians, but loved singing 'Jimmy Mack' or Nancy's, 'These Boots are Made for Walkin', but if it had a good beat, she was movin' and groovin'. Kim was a world traveler, known for cruising or flying somewhere, with her camera in hand; She enjoyed exploring new places across the globe, but her favorite destination was Aruba, where she returned numerous times over the years.

A successful businesswoman, Kim was proud of her career and the people she met along the way. One individual she was lucky enough to meet, Moe, became a longtime friend and honorable member of the entire family. One of the most memorable achievements of her business career/ownership was hosting the General Framework Agreement for Peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Hope Hotel located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

Kim was known for many things throughout her life - a loving daughter, a wonderful, supportive sister, a protective, loving aunt, an over-the-top dog mom, a loyal friend, and an intelligent businesswoman. If you were to ask her what she was most proud of, it would have been her family, mostly her seven nieces, with whom she spoiled with love, weekend sleepovers and dancing to Motown in her kitchen. Kim loved being an aunt, but seeing her niece's become moms to their own children may have been her greatest joy. Kim was a proud aunt.

As James said, "How sweet it is to be loved by you!" - There is no statement that can sum up how it felt to be loved by our beloved Kim.

We hope you're dancing in the streets, enjoying every beat, with joy in your heart, the warmth of the Aruban sun on your face and the comfort of family surrounding you with love. What a ride you had on Earth, now go enjoy paradise. We love you!

Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Vivian (2020) and Vernon (2011); her brother, Robert Barlow (2010), her beloved pets, Buffy, Ozzy, Toby and Molly.

Kim is survived by her two Sisters - Melinda (Jamie) Johnson and Rhonda (Dave) Bockman.

Seven Nieces - Courtney (Justin), Brittany (Zack), Kelsey (William), Meridith (Spencer), Audrey (Chris), JoEllen (Nate) and Natalie.

Eleven Great Nieces and Nephews - Emerson, Croix, Lennon, Iker, Larkin, Macoy, Camila, Josie, Koah, Archer and Bennett.

Her beloved best friend Winnie; Close friend, Penny; Dear friend, Moe.

Numerous beloved cousins and friends.
