Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Landen Robert Owens, who left this world far too soon on August 28, 2026, at the age of 16. A true firecracker born July 4, 2010, Landen filled the lives of everyone around him with love, laughter, and adventurous spirit. He is the beloved son of Clayton Owens, and the late Ashley Fawley and stepson of Candace Owens. He was the devoted brother of Madison and Maisie Owens.

Landen was the beloved grandson of Robert and Kathy Fawley, Mike and Ann Owens, and Dave and Laura Kitte; and was deeply valued by his aunts and uncles, including Chad (Stacey) Fawley, Travis Fawley, Lisa Owens and Bonnie Owens as well as his cousins, Andrea, Courtney, Keegan and Nola, who will remember him fondly.

A bright light in the lives of everyone he met, Landen loved the great outdoors and spent countless hours fishing, boating, and enjoying time on the jet skis with the family. He was an athlete and grew up playing everything; hockey, baseball, and soccer. Landen's passion for sports shined through in his dedication to football, basketball, and wrestling. Recently, he had discovered a newfound love for JROTC, embracing leadership and camaraderie with his peers. In addition to being an outdoors and active kid Landen was also a talented cook, often surprising family and friends with his delicious meals.

Beyond his many personal achievements, Landen's caring nature distinguished him from others. He took pride in helping his beloved grandparents with yard work and had an innate ability to connect with people of all ages, often acting as a protector and source of encouragement for his friends. He was sharp, curious and inquisitive. His outgoing personality and passion for life brightened the days of all who knew him.

In honoring Landen's memory, a visitation will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Milford, Ohio, on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to join together for a funeral service at the same location on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 1:30 PM. We come together to celebrate Landen's life, to share our cherished memories, and to support one another through this unimaginable loss.

Though Landen's time with us was far too brief, his impact on our lives will be lasting. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
