Obituary for Laota (Fugate) Fox

Laota (Fugate) Fox, 61, of Milford, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, surrounded by love, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Laota is survived by her loving husband, Troy Fox, and by her devoted children: Rose Fox-Thrift (Giles Thrift), Rebecca Jane Fox, and Michael William Fox. She was a loving grandmother to Sophia Elizabeth Thrift and Jasper James Thrift.

She is also survived by her loving siblings, to whom she was very close: Hazel Clements, Sherry Morgan, Delbert (Del) Fugate, Charles (Joe) Fugate, Juanita (Nita) Williams, Dan (JR) Fugate, and Ada Blalock.

Laota was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Mollie (nee Bishop) Fugate.

A celebration of life will be held on January 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The American Legion, 450 Victor Stier, Milford, Ohio 45150.
