It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, a proud veteran, talented mechanic, and someone who truly loved working with machines of all kinds.
He proudly served his country in the United States military, an experience that remained an important part of his life.
He had a natural talent for fixing and understanding how things worked. Whether it was engines, tools, or equipment, he enjoyed taking things apart, repairing them, and getting them running again. Working with machinery was more than a skill for him-it was a passion. He also enjoyed the excitement of NASCAR and had a special love for motorcycles, especially Harley-Davidson. The roar of an engine and the thrill of the ride always brought him joy.
He was the father of eight children: Larry Jr., Anthony (Heather), Larry III, Larresa, Brian (Kelli), Ryan (Margaret), Sarah, and Kyle. Though life took many turns over the years, his family remained an important part of his story.
He is survived by his sister Roberta (Andre Willis), his nieces and nephews, and his grandchildren, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts. He will join his parents, Gilbert and Bertha, his sister Sharifah, and his grandchild Lauren.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation Thursday March 19th 10 AM - 11:30AM at Evans Funeral Home Milford, Ohio. Burial will follow with military honors in recognition of his service at Waldschmidt Cemetery, Camp Dennison. All are welcome to join the family for a gathering and light refreshments following the burial at Leming House 5951 Buckwheat Rd Milford, OH 45150
"His hands built, repaired, and served with pride. Though his work here is finished, his story continues through the family he leaves behind.
