Larry G Roberts

On March 2, Larry G. Roberts passed away surrounded by his loved ones at the age of eighty-one, after a short battle with an aggressive cancer. Larry was preceded in death by his daughterCarrie Roberts and son Keith Clark.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Shirley Roberts; daughters Jamie (Norb) Mentzel

and Lisa (Shane) Malone; grandchildren Jillian (Jinesh) Neff-Patel, Shana Malone,

Sandi Malone, Lindsey Wilkinson, Jaden Roberts; and great-grandson Auden Patel.

Larry was an awarded, talented and successful builder who made great relationships

with those he worked with. He loved the challenge of design-build and meeting the

needs of his clients. He never met a stranger, loved interacting with everyone he

encountered on construction projects and job sites, and made lifelong friends

throughout his 54 years as the founder and owner of Roberts Construction. Larry

continued to work every day up until the end, he refused to let bad health slow him

down, a true testament of his passion for his work.

Larry was an avid golfer, who loved everything about the game. He loved the

competition on the fairways and greens, and the camaraderie of the lunches and

dinners after each round. He always looked forward to the next golf outing.

Larry made the world a better place. His kind nature and generosity were endless.

A celebration of Larry's life will be held at Evans Funeral Home - Milford 741 Center Street,

Milford, Ohio 45150 on Wednesday March 13, 2024, from 5:00 PM until time of memorial service at 7:00 PM
