With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Larry Eugene Wolf, who left us on September 8, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on January 25, 1949, in Marathon, Ohio, to the late John Allen Wolf and the late Alice Rowena Balser.


Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army, enlisting on June 16, 1969, and achieving the rank of Specialist 4 before his honorable discharge on June 3, 1971. His dedication to his country was a testament to his strong values and work ethic. Following his military service, he embraced a career at Bill Williams Auto Sales, where he worked diligently for over 30 years, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and customers alike.


A true jack-of-all-trades, Larry was known for his sharp yet quiet demeanor. He had a knack for fixing things. Not only was he a mechanic and salesman, but he was also someone who would give the shirt off his back to help others.


Larry treasured the great outdoors, often indulging in his passion for camping yearly, whether alone or in the company of family. He found joy in exploring flea markets and having meals at Golden Corral.


Larry is survived by his long time girlfriend Tina Thompson; Long time friend and past wife Dorothy Schrenk; Loving father of Marjorie (Ben Burke) Wolf, Donald (Tia) Wolf, William Wolf, Jennie (the late Lloyd) Williams, Larry Allen Wolf, Ruth Ann (C.J. Smith) Wolf; Cherished grandfather of 13; Great-grandfather of 3 and one on the way; Dear brother of Johnny Wolf and Jeff Fannin. Larry is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.


Along with his parents and son-in-law, Larry is preceded in death by his grandson Cameron Williams and his siblings: Donald Wolf, Leroy Wolf, and Ruth Wolf.


Larry's family and friends will gather to honor his memory in a graveside service to be held at Plainview Cemetery on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 11:30 AM. Following the service, all are welcome to gather at the Stonelick Lake State Park at the Grant shelter.
