Laura Catherine Cruickshank

Laura Catherine Cruickshank of Cincinnati,Ohio passed away Thursday October 28 2021. She was born to Thomas C. Lang and Linnie Mae Lang on October 19,1931 in Bartow Florida. The oldest daughter of 7 children.
Laura was a talented singer preforming in church and on the radio. She always presented herself well and did some modeling. She also enjoyed painting,playing the piano, puzzles and crossword. Her passion though was studying the Bible.
One story she would tell is while being at a restaurant in Palm Springs California, Bob hope sent a bottle of champagne to her table, made a toast to her as the most beautiful woman in the room. And well she was!
She is proceeded in death by her parents, husband John Cruickshank, along with siblings Whidford, David,Margaret,Barbara,Nola,and Johnny.
She is survived by her two children,Steve Holstad( Kris),Laura Carman (Wes). Three step children Kathy Bennett, Karen Bottoms,( Wendell), Pam DeCosta ( Steven).
Five grandchildren,Jeremy Jacobson (Brooke),Robyn Holmberg(Nathan),Maren Elyse Holstad, Thor Holstad, Wesley Carman. 4 great grandchildren Grace Holmberg,Bradley Holmberg,Charles Jacobson, Nora Jacobson.
Visitation is November 4, 2021 starting at 2 with service at 3.
