Lawrence Collier

Lawrence L. “Larry” Collier, 83, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2023. Loyal husband to Charlene S. Collier, loving father of Belinda S. Schraer (Michael A. Schraer) & the late Lawrence J. Collier. Caring grandfather of Sandra L. Krueger (Cory Krueger), Alexandra N. Sachs (Benjamin Sachs), Ashley Collier, Jeremy Collier (Ashley Collier) and Josh Collier. Great grandfather of Sophia Krueger, Grace Krueger, Peyton Collier, Hailey Collier, Maci Collier and Skylei Lane.

Larry was born in September of 1939, grew up in Cincinnati and attended Central High School. Spent many years dancing with his sweetheart, Charlene, for 47 years! He enjoyed sharing his love of music, Elvis, NASCAR, all muscle cars and hot rods and Cincinnati sports.

He devoted his work life of 30 years to the Cincinnati Enquirer followed by 20 years at Meijer. Larry had a passion for caring for others, never met a stranger, and opened his home to countless people. He has impacted the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

Private ceremony will be held with immediate family only.

Memorials may be directed to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, St. Jude Hospital, Alzheimer’s Association or Ohio Valley Hospice.
