Lee Ann Lanter, age 60, passed away Thursday March 14, 2024 after a brief battle with ALS. Born July 30, 1963 to Mary Lou (Ruhoff) and William S Lanter (deceased). She is survived by her older sister Alicia "Lisa"Torbeck (Steve), her younger sister Kelli Radloff (Jeff) and her younger brother Kevin (Tina). She leaves behind 10 nieces and nephews, Ashley Torbeck Shoemaker (Jared), Jessica Torbeck Hare (Matt), Rebekah, Luke,Joshua, Elijah, and Elizabeth Radloff, Abby, Will, and Sophie Lanter and great nephew William Hare.
Lee Ann graduated from McNicholas High School in 1981. She was active in the drill team, band and danced in some of the productions and at special events. She danced throughout her years in high school at Jane Miles School of Dance.
Over the years after graduation, she worked many different office jobs. She taught dance at The Studio for Dance in Blue Ash for over 20 years while working full time. Her choreography and dancers won numerous awards over the years. She was fortunate to have her choreography performed at Carnegie Hall and with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. Most recently, Lee Ann worked at Sem Haven as a homemaker, cooking and serving the residents in assisted living.
Honoring her wishes, there will be no services. She will be laid to rest at a later date at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. If you wish to honor Lee Ann, please consider a donation in her name to one of the following organizations:
