Lesta E. Blasky

BLASKY, Lesta Elizabeth (nee. Purdy) passed away after a long illness on Friday, January 22, 2016. She was born to Jeannetta Lea (Kite) and O.W (Jack) Purdy on December 16, 1936 in Burlington, Kentucky. Mrs. Blasky made a difference in the lives of hundreds of young children as a lively, devoted kindergarten teacher at New Richmond Elementary School before her retirement. She is survived by her beloved husband, Aaron (Ed) Blasky, her children, Ann Frank, Aaron Blasky, and Nicholas Blasky, her grandchildren, Leo, Nora, and Jesse Frank, and Aaden and Aris Blasky and her dear sister, Nellie (Purdy) Scheffel (John). Visitation will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Milford, Ohio, Friday January 29, 2016 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Neediest Kids of All or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
