Lewis Eugene Wiggins, Jr.

Lewis "Lew" E. Wiggins, Jr, beloved husband of 39 years to Kathleen "Kathy" (nee Williams) Wiggins. Devoted and loving father to Lewis E. (Lisa) Wiggins, III and Megan (Jake) Piening. Proud and loving Grandpa to Lewis E. Wiggins IV and Isla Wiggins. Lew is survived by brothers Floyd Brate, Robert Brate, and sister Connie (Tom) Pugh as well as many nieces and nephews. Lew passed peacefully the early morning of May 23, 2022 at age 69. Lew was born Oct 10, 1952 and raised in Milford, OH. Attending Milford HS, a proud Milford Eagle, Class of 1971. After high school Lew served the US Army from 1973-1976, honorably discharged. Once home his passion for classic cars would find him working several shops in Cincinnati mastering the trade of aftermarket work to restore cars to show quality. Lew's biggest passion was his family. Always proud of both his son and daughter, time spent getting to CA to see the grandkids was truly a highlight that he would share often with anyone who would listen. He enjoyed family gatherings with Euchre or Pass the trash card games, the annual Clermont County holiday, the Pumpkin Run Nationals Car Show and his car buddies there. Many of those cars he'd had a hand in restoring. Lew and Kathy enjoyed being active with their church, Milford First UMC and the weekly after Sunday service lunches at Frisch's sharing old Milford stories. Lew's love, laughter, kind and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all those who were blessed to have known him. Graveside only service will take place Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 10:00am., Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford, OH. All are welcome. A Celebration of Lew's life will be held immediately following at Riverside Park, Milford, OH (pavilion across from the American Legion Post 450, Victor Stier Dr) from 11-5. All are welcome to come, share food and stories. Please bring a lawn chair for your comfort.
