In Loving Memory of Lisa Newsome

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Lisa Marie Newsome, born on September 14, 1982, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Lisa's unexpected departure from us has left a void that can never be filled. She was a woman of remarkable faith, finding solace in her devotion to God and her cherished Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. Her loving spirit touched the lives of everyone around her, bringing warmth and kindness wherever she went.

Lisa was a devoted wife to her beloved Eric Newsome and a dedicated mother to Grace and McKenzie Newsome. She found joy in the simple things in life, especially in spending time outdoors, fishing, and watching her daughters excel in volleyball and softball. Her boundless love extended not only to her family but also to her friends and community. Lisa had a big heart, always ready to lend a helping hand and share laughter with those in her presence.

Lisa is survived by her soulmate of over 20 years, Eric Newsome, her daughters Grace and McKenzie Newsome, her parents, Mack and Kim Feltner, her sister Liz (Darryl) Newberry, uncle Brad Ballard, aunt Debbie Dunn and her niece Samantha Huhn. She is preceded in death by her daughter Katelyn Rose Newsome, grandparents Charlie and Lucy Ballard, uncle Wes Ballard and mother-in-law Teri Hiter.

A celebration of Lisa's life will be held with a Funeral Service at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church on August 17, 2024, at 12:30 pm. Prior to the service, there will be a Visitation at the church beginning at 10:30 am on the same day. Following the ceremonies, Lisa will be laid to rest at Graceland Memorial Gardens.

While we mourn the loss of Lisa, we also celebrate the beautiful memories and joyful moments we shared with her. Her legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will forever remain in our hearts. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal light of God's love.

Following the services at the cemetery, friends are invited to join the family at the church for food and fellowship.
