Lois May Theuring

Lois M. Theuring passed Friday January 19, 2024 age 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Charles W. Theuring. Devoted mother of 11 children – Caren L. Theuring (Jeffery Wysel), Charles W. “Skip” Theuring Jr. (Patricia), Lawrence E. Theuring (Linda), Richard T. Theuring, Russell S. Theuring (Susan), Kathleen M. Albino (Lester Camfield), Edward J. Theuring (Margarita), John A. Theuring (Lisa), Andrew P. Theuring, Matthew J. Theuring (Julie), Dr. Paige L. Theuring. Loving grandmother to 22 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was an author, freelance writer, amateur poet and sculptor. Founded the Ayden North Carolina Collard Festival in 1975 which has been held annually since. Loved reading, gardening, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, cross stitch and scrabble.
