Obituary

Lola W. Lamprecht, born on April 16, 1942, in Montgomery, Alabama to William Raymond and Mittie Rebecca Carr. She left this world peacefully on October 8, 2026, at the age of 84. A devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Lola's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Lola was the beloved wife of the late Eugene R. Lamprecht and a proud mother to Annette (Larry) Zapf and Tammy (Terry) Ayers. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren, Shannon (Shane Chambers) Zapf, Patrick (Jessica) Ayers, and Tiffany (Aaron) Adkins, as well as her great-grandchildren, Aleah (Bry) Zapf, Marilyn (Lucas) Ayers, Riley Ayers, Wyatt Adkins, Hailey Walton, Sophia Adkins, and Easton Chambers. Lola's family was her heart and soul, and she cherished every moment spent with them, radiating warmth and love.

She was the beloved sister of James (Jeanne) Carr and the late Donald, Joe, Mack, Glenn, Eddie, and Gene Carr. Many will remember Lola not just for her familial bonds, but for her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter. A retiree of Ford Motor Company, she exemplified hard work and dedication throughout her life.

Lola's passion for travel took her around the world, enriching her life with experiences and friendships across various cultures. Known for her love of bird watching, socializing, and staying active, she was adored for her vivacity and zest for life. While she could be spoiled and at times lacked patience, it was this spirited personality that endeared her to so many. Lola had a remarkable ability to create connections and touch the hearts of those around her, leaving an enduring impact on the lives she touched.

A visitation will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Milford, on Friday, October 16th from 10 AM until time of funeral services beginning at 11:30 AM. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of her remarkable journey and to celebrate the love she shared with each of us.

As we say goodbye to this extraordinary woman, let us carry her spirit forward in our hearts, keeping her memory alive through love, laughter, and the stories we will share.

Rest in peace, dear Lola. You are deeply missed and will forever be cherished.
