Lori J. Hill

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lori Jean Hill, who departed this life on May 6, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on September 28, 1966, in Covington, Kentucky, to the late Donald and Carol (nee Mastin) Schooler. Lori was a beloved member of her community and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

Lori was the beloved wife and companion of 28 years to Steve Hill; Loving stepmother of Elizabeth Marie Hill; Dear sister of Donald (Sue) Schooler Jr.; Cherished sister-in-law of Debbie (the late Dennis) Green; Aunt of Dennis Lee (Kady) Green, Jennifer Ann (John) Mounce, and Ashley Williams; Great-aunt to Kaylee Green and Bentlee Green; Daughter-in-law of Betty Hill.

Lori lived in Milford, Ohio, where she built a life filled with kindness and joy. She was a dedicated employee for the City of Covington, contributing her skills in administration to first the Engineering department for 27 years until she retired. After retirement, Lori went back to the City of Covington and joined the public works department, where she worked for 10 more years and forged lasting friendships with her colleagues. Known for her warmth and welcoming nature, Lori treated everyone she encountered with the same care and grace, never meeting a stranger.

A fun-loving spirit, Lori brought positivity into every room she entered. Her passion for music was evident in her love for the Bee Gees, and she often shared this joy by attending concerts with her husband. Together, they created countless cherished memories, whether dining out, fishing or enjoying quiet evenings listening to their favorite tunes.

Lori was also an amazing aunt, lavishing love and attention on her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed mini vacations with her girlfriends. Her vibrant, upbeat personality touched the lives of many, and her laughter will resonate in the hearts of all who loved her.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home - Milford. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery- Miami Township.
