Louis Alvin Aprile beloved father of Skip (Marlene) Aprile, Cheryl "Sherry" (Rick) Wegelin, Sandi Meeks and Sue (Mark) Brewer; loving Papaw of Kristen (Craig) Miller, Jessica (Ryan) Bennett, Joseph (Abbie) Aprile, Angela (Austin) Poe, Eric Meeks, Kyle (Jennifer Kennedy) Meeks and April Meeks; Great Papaw of Owen, Avery, Allison, Ethan, Eli, Jack and two more great grandsons on the way. Passed away Wednesday August 26, 2020. Age 86. Residence Milford, OH. Louis served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired as a machinist from the Ford Motor Company after 47 years of service. Mr. Aprile had a love for steam locomotives and model trains and was known "Choo Choo Lou". Visiitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 741 Center St., Miilford on Tuesday September 1, 2020 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be held at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford. Memorial donations may be given to the National Brain Tumor Society at www.braintumor.org.
