Louise Witt

Louise Witt, a beloved wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Aunt and Friend to all who knew her, passed peacefully from this life on December 11, 2024, at the age of 88. Born on March 22, 1936, in Wise County, Virginia, Louise's journey led her to become a foundational pillar for her family and a source of joy to all who knew her.

Louise's heart was captured two decades ago by her husband, Jerry Witt, through a beautiful exchange of pen-pal letters that blossomed from the serene mountains of Virginia to the landscapes of Clermont County, Ohio. Their connection, filled with love and laughter, forged a partnership that enhanced the lives of everyone around them.

Known for her deep love of the Lord, Louise embodied kindness and humor, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed her path. She was a creative spirit who found joy in quilting, sewing, gardening, and cooking. Louise delighted in visiting flea markets, where she would discover treasures and antiques that sparked her passion for collecting.

She will be deeply missed by her stepson Jerry Steven Witt and his wife Sharon and family. Stepdaughter Dee and Bo Bushelman and family.

Louise is survived by sisters Sue Barlow and Irene Rienzo. Several grandchildren, nieces, nephews as well as a wide circle of loving Friends. She was preceded in death by her other brothers and sisters Clyde, Kathleen, Margie, Ralph, Beulah, Ruth, Charles Jr., Edward, William, James, also preceded by her late husband Rudy Whitehorn and son Gary Wayne Whitehorn.

Louise's family invites you to celebrate her beautiful life during a visitation at Evans Funeral Home in Milford on December 17, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. She will be laid to rest after the service at Graceland Memorial Gardens.
