Lynette P. Mason Carmack

Lynette Patricia Mason Carmack, born on December 12, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio, left this world peacefully on May 25, 2025, at the age of 86. A beloved sister, mother, and grandmother, Lynette's life was a tapestry woven with laughter, love, and cherished memories.

Throughout her life, Lynette was dedicated to her family, who were her greatest joy. She is survived by her loving children, Rayetta (James) Parrish, Grace (Gordon) Dickerson, Tom Hughes, Sandy (Willie) Long, Jr., and Roger (Mary) Hughes; Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: David, Angela, Jessica, Jennifer, Charity, Carie (Mike), Tommy Lee, Natasha (Ira), James (Nicki), Jazzminn (Andy), and Stephanie, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Lynette's warmth and kindness touched all those who crossed her path. She was a regular at the Senior Center, where she enjoyed spending time with friends, taking part in lively games of bowling, cards, and board games. Her love for laughter was only matched by her devotion to her church and community, where she actively participated and shared her spirit with others. Lynette also found joy in dining out and exploring new eateries, always accompanied by family and friends, forging memories around the dinner table.

Her life's journey was marked by the simple pleasures of being surrounded by those she loved. As we reflect on Lynette's life, we remember her vivacious spirit and the love she spread so generously.

A memorial gathering in honor of Lynette Patricia Carmack will be held on June 5, 2025, from 1:30PM til 3:00PM providing the opportunity to celebrate her life, share stories, and cherish the memories created together.

As we say our goodbyes, we find comfort in knowing that Lynette's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone she touched. She may have departed from this earthly realm, but her love and memories will forever remain.

Lynette was preceded in death by: parents Walter & Erma Mason, son Jim Hughes, and grandson Beau.
