Obituary for Margaret "Peggy" Ann Campbell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Margaret "Peggy" Ann Campbell, who left this world on September 1, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on January 22, 1943, in Huntington, West Virginia, Peggy was a vibrant soul who brought joy and warmth to everyone lucky enough to know her.

A proud resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, Peggy dedicated her life to her family and her passion for retail clothing sales. Her infectious spirit and kind nature made her beloved in the community, where she forged lasting friendships and shared her love for fashion with many.

Peggy's greatest treasure was her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of sixty-three years, Charles Campbell, and her loving son, Michael Campbell. Preceded in death by her son Charles Campbell III, and daughter Jennifer Campbell Ferguson. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Matthew & Lauren Ferguson, Alex Campbell, and Christie Campbell, and Sean Buchanan, as well as her great-granddaughters, Annie and Abby Ferguson. She held a special place in her heart for her son-in-law, Steve Ferguson. Peggy was preceded in death by parents Charles & Frances Arthur (nee Sowers), sister Frances Schroeder and sister Sharon Smith.

Beyond her family, Peggy cherished the simple pleasures of life. She loved to fish and often found serenity at East Fork Lake, where she spent countless afternoons soaking in nature's beauty. She was an avid collector of Beanie Babies, a testament to her playful spirit. Active in her church, she engaged with her community in meaningful ways and always found time to pen her thoughts in her journals.

Peggy's love for travel, especially with Charles by her side, created a treasured trove of memories that will be carried on in the hearts of her family. They embraced life's adventures together, laughing and creating stories that will be shared for generations.

The family will hold a celebration of Peggy's life, inviting all who knew and loved her to share stories and memories. Funeral Services will be Saturday September 13, 2025 with visitation at 10:00AM with a funeral service at 11:00AM at Kenwood Baptist Church 8341 Kenwood Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236, and we encourage everyone to join us for a luncheon after remembering a remarkable woman whose spirit will forever shine in our hearts. Private family burial will be on Monday September 15th.

Rest in peace, Peggy. Your laughter, kindness, and love will be missed deeply but never forgotten.
