Margaret M. Shepherd

Margaret "Margy" Shepherd cherished daughter of Rosamond "Dode" (nee Mullany) Shepherd and the late Raymond Shepherd; loving mother of Abagail "Abby" (Nick) Ries and Laura Nagley; dear sister of Rose Richter (her twin), Mary Anne (Chris) Gagnon and Tom (Jill) Shepherd; aunt of many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Passed away suddenly Friday October 21, 2016. Age 61. Residence Stonelick Township. Margy graduated from Miami University in 1978 with a Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics and from Xavier University in 2002 with a Master's degree in Secondary Education. She was employed as a teacher with Blanchester Schools since 2001. Margy was a wonderful craftsperson proficient in card making, ceramics, sewing, knitting, crocheting and jewelry making. She was also very involved in several community organizations. Margy loved vacation time, especially beach time. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 741 Center St., Milford, OH 45150 on Thursday October 27th from 5 PM to 8 PM and Friday October 28th from 10 AM until time of Celebration of Life at 11 AM at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be given to Family and Consumer Sciences, Blanchester Schools, 953 Cherry St., Blanchester, OH 45107.
