Marie L. Ward

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Marie Louise Ward, a beloved wife and mother, who peacefully left us on September 18, 2024. Born in Fort Monmouth, NJ on January 14, 1957. She spent several years in Germany with her career Army father before the family settled in El Paso, Texas. Marie brought joy and warmth to all those around her in her quaint home in Goshen, OH.

Marie was a dedicated nurse in the health care industry, known for her compassionate care and gentle touch. Outside of work, Marie had a passion for decorating and teddy bears, her collection a testament to her whimsical spirit and love for the little joys in life.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Wade Ward, as well as cherished memories with her children Christopher Gerhardt & Linsey Little and grandchildren William Little & Remington Gerhardt, who were the light of her life. Also survived by her brothers Micheal Tenneson and Patrick Tenneson. Marie's presence and kindness will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of Marie’s life will be held Monday September 30th at Evans Funeral Home 1944 Ohio 28 Goshen, Ohio. Visitation from 6 – 7 PM with service at 7 PM. Please join her friends and family for this opportunity to come together and pay their respects to a remarkable woman who touched so many lives with her kindness and love.
