Marilyn Davison Bachman

Marilyn Louise Bachman-Davison, age 86, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2021 at her Seasons Courtyard apartment where she has resided the past five years. She is survived by her sons: Edward H. Bachman and Keith F. Bachman (Ginny) and her former husband, Nathan D. Bachman IV (Lynda) and five grandchildren; Chelsea Bachman Rodgers (Joseph), Hannah Bachman, Avery Bachman, Natalie Bachman, Landon Bachman and two great grandsons; Benjamin Rodgers and Asher Rodgers. Marilou is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Bonnie Bachman and friend, Tracie Peschke (John).

Marilou was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on October 1, 1934 to the late Heber and Lydia Outland. She was preceded in death by her former husbands: Edward Hyde Rakestraw II and Clyde E. Davison, and her son, Nathan D. Bachman V

Marilou attended Lower Merion H.S. (Pa), class of 1952, Endicott Jr. College (Ma) and the University of Cincinnati, graduating with degrees in Nursing (1978) and Psychology (1982). Marilou had such a strong love for her grandchildren, her dear friends, Colorado, dogs, yoga, reading and travel. She travelled the world with "Gramps" after retiring from Jewish Hospital where she worked as a psychiatric nurse.

All who loved her will miss her and never forget her generosity, sense of adventure, strong will, wit and laughter. We love you Marilou, "Lou"," Aunt Looney", "Lulu", and "Memaw". A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 8 at 4:30 with visitation at 4:00 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 100 Miami Ave, Terrace Park, Ohio.
