Marilyn Katherine Bowers

Marilyn Katherine Bowers (nee Meredith), 83, passed away Wednesday Oct 28, 2026. She was born December 14, 1942 the daughter of Hugh Meredith and Katherine Kirkpatrick Meredith. Marilyn grew up in Johnson City, TN and moved to Cincinnati, OH in 1969 where, after staying home with her young children, had a long careeer doing payroll at the Milford Schools Board of Education. Mrs. Bowers volunteered with Habitat for Humanity where, in addition to helping build houses in the Cincinnati area, she traveled with her husband around the country and the world to help bring housing to others; she continued to work with local families after they were in their new homes. She was a long-time volunteer for The Great Rivers Girl Scout Council, the Cincinnati Nature Center and other local organizations.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years Tom Bowers. She was the loving mother of Kathy (Todd) Oneacre and David (Lauren Ramsby) Bowers. She was a loving grandmother to Savannah (Garren) Bailey, Katie Oneacre and Colm Oneacre and great grandmother of Carter Jane Bailey, Kendall Marilyn Bailey and Harper Bailey. Marilyn is also survived by her sisters Ann Neis (Stephen) and Josephine Meredith.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation that will be held on Tuesday November, 3 at 1:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home followed immediately by services at 2:00 PM. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Cemetery 687A US 50 Milford, Ohio.
