Marilyn Ann Lawson

Lawson, Marilyn A. (nee Byrne) was born in Clermont County, Batavia, OH on June 15, 1936. She attended Owensville High School, Batavia, OH and graduated in 1954. She attended the University of Cincinnati taking additional courses. Her deceased parents are mother, born 1897, Minnie A (Wassler) Byrne and Milton F. Byrne, born 1896.
In 1959, Marilyn married James J. Lawson in Cincinnati, OH. She is survived by her husband, James J. Lawson who currently resides at Cypress Care Center, in Wildwood FL. two children, James S. (Mary) Lawson and Kimberly A. (Jeff) Chaffin of Wheelersburg, OH. They have five grandchildren; Stephanie Chaffin, Indianapolis, IN, Kelly (Marcus) Williams, Craig (Nicole) Chaffin, Portland, OR, Jamie Lawson, Spokane, WA, and Jennifer (Richard) Blevins, Alton IL.
Marilyn also has brothers, Frank M. Byrne, Richard A. Byrne, deceased and one sister, Virginia R. Anderson along with five nieces and four nephews.
Marilyn passed away, Friday, September 1, 2017, age 81; she was a resident of Summerfield, FL. For 17 years. Services will take place at Evans Funeral Home, Goshen, Saturday, September 9, 10 AM. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 PM. Memorials to the American Cancer Society.
