Marilyn Mcclain

Marilyn Rae McClain. Born October 14, 1948 Booth Hospital Covington, KY Passed away in her home Cincinnati, OH May 28, 2022. Daughter of Howard & Eileen McClain (deceased.) Loving mother of Brian Libbin (Teri), and Rachel Pingley (Adam.) Loving sister of Donna Spivey (Curtis.) Grandmother of Emma & Matthew Cox, and Zachary Libbin. Loving companion to Robbie, her beloved sheltie. Marilyn graduated Highlands High School in Ft. Thomas, KY, and attended Millikin University in Decatur, IL. While raising her family she attended Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing, graduating with her RN, and worked at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for 10 years. She went on to get her Master’s Degree from Grand Canyon University. Marilyn was an accomplished pianist/pipe organist. She was a member of SAI (Sigma Alpha Iota) music fraternity, and she was also past president of the Cincinnati Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. She was the organist at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church for the past 6 years. Marilyn brought the joy of music to so many. Her talent and beautiful spirit will be greatly missed. Funeral mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Milford Tuesday June 14, 2022 11:00 am with visitation one hour before. Evans Funeral Home assisting the family.
