It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Anthony Rombach, a dedicated husband, father, brother, and friend, who left us on February 9, 2025. Mark, born on January 15, 1965, in Livonia, MI, lived a full life fueled by his love for family, airplanes, and all things sports.
Mark called Cincinnati, OH, home, where he embraced life alongside his beloved wife, Brenda, and their two sons, Nathan and Anthony. A proud alumnus of Southern Illinois University, Mark turned his passion for aircraft into a successful career as an aircraft mechanic. He had an innate talent with tools-whether it was fixing planes or tinkering around the house, his hands always seemed to know just what to do.
A true sports enthusiast, Mark was a loyal fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Blackhawks, and he proudly cheered for the University of Michigan. But more than his love for sports, it was his role as a coach that truly showcased his dedication and kindness. Mark spent countless hours coaching youth basketball, baseball, lacrosse, and hockey, nurturing not just skills but also friendships and teamwork in young athletes.
Mark's zest for life extended to his furry companions, Buddy and Baby Girl, who were always by his side. He treasured quiet moments at home, often accompanied by his cats, bringing warmth and laughter into the family's life.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Brenda; his sons, Nathan and Anthony; and his brothers, John (Cindy), Paul (Becky), Eric (Cathy), and Greg (Sherri) Rombach. Each of them will miss his gentle spirit and unwavering support.
The family will receive friends Friday February 21, 2025 at Evans Funeral Home 741 Center St. Milford, Ohio from 3 - 5 PM with a memorial service at 5 PM. We invite everyone who knew and loved Mark to honor his legacy together. Memorials, if so desired may be directed to Wounded Warrior Project - support.woundedwarriorproject.org
While Mark may have departed from this world, his spirit will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him. We take comfort in the love he shared and the lives he touched along the way. Rest in peace, Mark. You will be dearly missed.
