It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marlene Thea Spieser, who left this world peacefully on December 3, 2024. Born on September 22, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Howard and Dorothea (nee Baldwin).
Marlene was a dedicated Dietitian Manager with Dual Health, a role she approached with passion and care, sharing her love for food and nutrition with those around her. An amazing cook and baker, she had a special talent for bringing people together at her table, creating memorable meals that were filled with love. Her flair for entertaining family and friends was evident in every gathering, where laughter and great food were constant companions.
In her leisure time, Marlene enjoyed shopping and had an appreciation for music, with a special fondness for the songs of Barry Manilow and John Denver. Whether it was humming a tune while cooking or tapping her feet to a favorite song, she lived life to the fullest with joy in her heart.
Marlene was the beloved wife to the late Thomas A. Spieser; Loving mother of John W. (Ayn) Spieser and the late Shellie Schneider; Grandmother of Christopher, Charlie, Jack and Will; Sister of Howard Casey, Donna Riley, Cheryl Vance, Cathy Stotler, Theresa LeMaster, the late Doug Casey and the late Ron Baldwin. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Marlene's giving and generous nature extended beyond her family, touching the lives of many who were fortunate to know her.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Evans Funeral Home - 741 Center St, Milford, OH 45150. Funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
