Marlene Wardlow

On Monday, May 6, 2024Marlene (Loudermilk)Wardlow of Union Township, loving wife and mother, passed away surrounded by family and friends at the age of 70.

Marlene was born October 10, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Marvin and Opal (Perkins) Loudermilk. She worked at Kellogg's in the later portion of her career where she retired.

Marlene was a loving, caring individual who always put others first. She was a woman of faith. She had a strong belief in God and always put her trust in Him. Her love for the youth in church Shined bright as she taught Sunday school and was a youth leader at Bethlehem United Baptist Church. She was also part of a gospel singing group for many years.

Family was the centerpiece of her life. Marlene loved spending time with her family and those times were so precious to her. Words cannot describe the enjoyment she had with her grandchildren. She loved to have fun and her laugh was infectious. It could light up a room and make those around her smile. She loved to go shopping and attend craft shows. She also loved to travel, especially to the Smoky Mountains.

Marlene was preceded in death by her father and mother Marvin and Opal Loudermilk. She is survived by her loving husband Douglas Wardlow; her son Eddie (Tiffany) Thompson; two stepchildren Sarah (Justin) Salyer and Michael Wardlow; and three grandchildren, Autumn Grace Thompson, Maysen, and Sienna Salyer. She also leaves behind a sister Sandra (Ron) Sharp, a brother Tim (Kelly) Loudermilk, a sister Nancy (Chester) Collins, nieces Jocelyn Sharp (Alex) Karas, Ellen (Gene) Cone, Hannah (Kyle) Montplaisir and a multitude of friends.

There will be a visitation at Evans Funeral Home - Milford 741 Center Street Milford, Ohio 45150, Tuesday May 14, 2024, from 5:00 PM until time of funeral service at 7:00 PM
