Marvin Jesse Goins

Marvin Jesse Goins, age 75, of Blanchester passed surrounded by his family on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery. He was born March 13, 1941 in Richmond, Kentucky the son of Jessie and Ona Howard Goins. He was an U.S. Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. Marvin was a retired welder for the General Electric Company in Evendale for 33 years. He is survived by his children and spouses; Kimberly & Rocky Leath and Emmitt "Jamie" & Amy Goins, grandchildren and spouses; Tiphany & Austin Davidson, Cody & Skylar Leath, Kiersten Goins, Ashley Goins, Katelynn Goins and Michael Goins, great grandsons; Sawyer Leath & Knox Davidson, nephews; Jack (Rhonda) Goins, Bo Goins, nieces; Bobby (Larry) Acuff, Brenda (Dave) Brown, Sue Boyd and Geri Shell. Along with his parents he was preceeded in death by his son, Marvin Goins Jr. and his brothers Jurel and Lloyd Goins. He was a Papaw to many and he loved wood working, making many cherished creations for his family. Services will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the Evans Funeral Home, 1944 State Route 28 in Goshen 45122. Burial will follow in the Morrow Cemetery in Warren County. Family and friends may visit Noon until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
