Mary Jo Kelly "Jody", a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on March 14, 1949, Jody was known for her vibrant spirit, boundless generosity, and unwavering love for her family.
She was the loving wife of the late Perry Kelly for 55 wonderful years, creating a life filled with laughter, joy, and resilience. Jody is survived by her three devoted children: Tim (Paige) Fulton, Tina Kelly-Greenwood, and Marie Dozier, who will forever cherish her memory and the love she imparted. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Ryan (Nicole) Fulton, Brandon (Reagan) Fulton, Casey Fulton, Eric (Jenny) Greenwood, Cassidy Greenwood, Damon Manley, Matthew (Kara) Schultz, Mark (Sara) Schultz, and Kelly (Mike) Conner, as well as her four precious great-grandchildren: Ava Mae Schultz, Max Conner, Rowan Fulton, and Weston Fulton.
Jody was also a beloved sister to Marjorie Flanagan and a treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews, who will miss her deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents Ewell and Anna, her husband Perry, son in law Jeff Greenwood, and her sister Judith Wilke, all which she loved so dearly.
A woman of many joys, Jody had a passion for life that shone brightly through her love of gambling, especially in the vibrant halls of Las Vegas, where she spent many cherished days. She had a special fondness for bingo and shared countless afternoons playing with friends and family. An incredible cook, she delighted her loved ones with her culinary creations, and she found joy in activities like golfing and bowling. Above all, Jody was an amazing mother and grandmother, always putting family first and taking great pride in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren.
The family will hold a Celebration of life to honor Jody, sharing stories and embracing the legacy of love she leaves behind. It will take place at the American Legion Post 72 (497 B Old State Route 74, Cincinnati, Ohio 45244) on Saturday, November 22nd from 1pm-4pm. The family invites all who knew and loved Jody to join them in this celebration of her incredible journey.
Jody will be missed beyond words, but her spirit will always live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
