It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Helen Jones, who left us peacefully on July 17, 2025, at the age of 87. Born in Asheville, NC, on October 28, 1937, Mary Helen was a kind soul and a devoted family member who brightened the lives of everyone around her.Mary Helen had a fulfilling 38 year career as an analyst at GE Aviation, where she dedicated her keen mind and work ethic to her profession. But beyond her impressive accomplishments, Mary Helen was best known for her unwavering support of her loved ones. She never missed a sporting event, always cheering for her grandchildren, Chad and Nick Klenk, in every game and tournament. Her passionate spirit for life extended beyond the field, as she loved to share laughter and excitement at Bingo nights and enjoyed the thrill of gambling at "the Boat." Family was everything to Mary Helen. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Julie Klenk, son-in-law Robbin "Rob" Klenk, cherished grandsons Chad and Nick Klenk, sister-in-law Jane Ramsey, nieces and nephews Linda Burleson, Chuck and Lisa Burleson, Paula and Barry Harris, and Carolyn and Kevin Burleson-Webb. Friends and family will gather to honor Mary Helen's remarkable life at Evans Funeral Home in Milford on July 23, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am. As we say goodbye to Mary Helen, let us remember her laughter, love, and the countless memories shared. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.Mary Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Gerald "Norm" Jones, parents Carl & Cora Ramsey, sister Stella Burleson, brother-in-law Vernie Burleson and brother Frank Ramsey.
