Jane Kelley

November 9, 1939 — June 23, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary "Jane" Kelley on June 23, 2025, at the age of 85. She was born on November 9, 1939, in Batavia, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Rose Wagner. Jane was a pillar of strength and love in her family, instilling in her loved ones the values of kindness and devotion.

Jane found her greatest joy in the company of her family, particularly her grandchildren. An enthusiastic supporter, Jane attended every sports game and event for her children and grandchildren, cheering them on with unwavering encouragement.

Jane was a lifelong parishioner at St. Philomena Church, where she nurtured her faith for 85 years. She actively participated in the church community, sharing her love for music as a choir member and offering her support through her work on the bereavement committee. Her laughter and warmth will be deeply missed in both the pews and the hearts of those who knew her.

In addition to her devotion to family and faith, Jane cherished her close relationships with her siblings and family, often spending hours on the phone with them sharing stories and laughter. She was an active member of the Clermont Northeastern Alumni Association and had a love for music and dancing that brought joy not only to her own life but to those fortunate enough to share in her light.

Jane's love extended beyond her family. She found solace and fulfillment in tending to the graves of her loved ones, honoring their memories with care and compassion. Her upbeat spirit, sharp wit, and ever-present smile brought joy to every gathering and conversation.

Jane was the beloved wife of 46 years to the late Thomas E. Kelley; Loving mother of Kimberly (Bill) Whigham, Kevin (Kelly) Kelley, and the late Keith (Andrea Cibulski) Kelley; Dear grandma of Patrick Kelley, William Whigham, Sophia Whigham, Katherine Kelley, and Keenan Kelley; Cherished sister of Vernon Wagner.

Along with her husband, parents, and son, Jane is preceded in death by her siblings Maurice Wagner, Raymond Wagner, Shirley Varner, James Wagner, Betty Scott, Rosella Wagner, Phyllis Wagner, and Norma Wirsch.
