With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Dianne Marshall, an extraordinary woman who dedicated her life to teaching and supporting those around her. Dianne, born on October 9, 1943, in Ohio, left us peacefully on April 25, 2025, surrounded by love.
A proud graduate with her Bachelor's Degree, Dianne spent many fulfilling years as a devoted teacher for the State of Ohio. As a legally blind woman, she had a passion for working with the blind, leaving a lasting impact on her students and their families alike. Her caring nature extended beyond the classroom, as she was a true advocate for the underprivileged, always believing that everyone deserves the chance to shine, & possesses the strength to do so.
Mary was a true lover of life, particularly when it came to her cherished Dachshunds, pets & figurines alike. She loved to laugh and had a strong, resilient spirit. Family meant the world to her; she is survived by her beloved son, Shane Brzezinski, his wife, Rachel, and her adored grandson, D.J. Brzezinski, who will carry her memory forward.
Her deep faith was a guiding force in her life, and she found solace and community at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Dianne loved participating actively, helping with communion and taking part in the widows grief support group. Her unwavering belief in God was evident in her kindness, compassion, and strength.
Dianne's passing leaves a significant void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her legacy will live on through all the lives she touched. In her honor, the family kindly requests that, instead of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to St. Andrew Catholic Church.
Funeral services will be held to celebrate Dianne's remarkable life at St. Andrew Catholic Church on May 8th, 2025 at 10:00AM, after a visitation at Evans Funeral Home at 9:00AM. We invite all who were touched by Dianne to join us in remembrance, sharing stories and cherishing the moments that made her so special.
Rest in peace, Dianne. Your light will forever shine in our hearts.
