Mary Claire Purvis

MARY CLAIRE PURVIS was born on March 4, 1930 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Earl and Rose (nee Ferone) Roche. Loving aunt to 13 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; Dear sister to Rose Adkins. Mary is preceded in death by her late husband of 56 years Robert Purvis and sister Patricia Gunkle.

Mary loved spending time with family and friends, especially during the holidays which were always a special time for her. When she wasn’t spending time with family, Mary loved to read books. Her favorite author was Nicholas Sparks. She also enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Bengals and UK Wildcats basketball. Mary was also an avid bird watcher.

Mary passed away on October 3, 2022 at the age of 92. Resident of Milford, Ohio. A visitation will be held on October 22, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Evans Funeral Home - 741 Center St. Milford, OH 45150. A memorial service will immediately follow starting at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be sent to The Ohio Pet Santuary in memory of Mary Claire. Donations can be made at:
