Melvie O. (nee Garrett) Knopf beloved wife of 57 years to Fred Knopf; loving mother of Greg (Rechelle) Knopf, Ron (Karin) Knopf and Brian (Kristin) Knopf; cherished grandma of Corey (Kelly) Knopf, Kendra (Will) Duttry, Taylor (Andy) Specht, Miranda Knopf, Shelby (Ransom) Justice, Savannah Knopf, Madison Knopf, Hunter Knopf and Jonah Knopf; Great Grandma of Skylar Duttry, Brinlee Knopf, Liam Duttry, Maddox Knopf and Revere Justice; dear sister of Clettes Garrett, Cleo Garrett, Edna Rosenbaum and Helen Garrett; aunt of several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Lula Mae (nee Wilson) Garrett; and her siblings, Fred Garrett, Clay Garrett, Clovis Garrett, Ray Garrett, Daten Garrett, Laura Parker Basham, Reba Linde and Delcie Cravens Stinson. Went home to be with the Lord on Sunday October 21, 2018. Age 81. Residence Loveland. Melvie was a realtor with Sibcy Cline and a long- time member of First Baptist Church of Milford. Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church of Milford, 1367 Woodville Pike, Milford, OH 45150 on Thursday October 25th from 1:00 PM until time of funeral service at 2:00 PM at the church. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford. Memorial contributions may be given to Queen City Hospice or Master's Club c/o First Baptist Church of Milford.
