Melvin P. Johnson, beloved husband of the late Doris Bee Johnson, devoted father of Keith (Kimberly) Johnson, Lynn (Joe) Cowman, Roger (Patty Hall) Edwards, Diane (Rick) Bainum and Jennifer (Jeff) Leimberger, loving grandfather of Dewayne Bainum, Angela (Nick) Blevins, Ashley (Mike) Shearer, Stephanie (Ryan) Perie, Nathan Johnson, Taylor Johnson, Brooke Johnson, Brady Cowman and Dottie Hall, great-grandfather of Cadence, Scout, Maeley and Lyeda, brother of the late Margo Johnson and Kenny Johnson. Passed away on April 21, 2018 at the age of 80 years. He was a long time resident of Pleasant Plain, Ohio. Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, 1944 State Route 28, Goshen, on Thursday, April 26th from 6 PM until time of funeral services beginning at 7:30 PM. Graveside service will be held on Friday at Sears Cemetery in Stab, Kentucky at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sears Cemetery Trust Fund, c/o Gary Sears, 1284 Barnesburg Rd, Somerset, Kentucky 42503.
