Michael A. Collins

Michael A. Collins age 73, of Miami Township, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at the Laurels of Milford. He was born March 18, 1948 in Cincinnati the son of Robert and Eleanore (nee Weinle) Collins Michael was a graduate of Colerain High School and the University of Cincinnati. He is a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era, a member of the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association, past member of the VFW Memorial Team, member of the Central Committee of the Republican Party of Clermont County, member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and Society of American Magicians and he LOVED his helicopter. In August 1979 he married his wife of 41 years, Jeannie (nee Hageman) Collins, who survives. He is the cherished cousin of; Terry Fresse, Rose Gibbons, Bill Weinle, loving brother-in-law of; Mary (Mark Walton) Hageman and Nancy Pena, dear friend of Brad Maxwell, Chuck Spaeth and Joe Llamas.Services will be 12 noon, Monday, May 10, 2021, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM at the Evans Funeral Home in Milford. Reverend David Gerber will officiate. Burial will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery on Montgomery Rd., with military honors rendered by the Southwest Memorial Team. He family requests memorials be made to the Milford Kiwanis, c/o Evans Funeral Home 741 Center St., Milford, Ohio 45150. Immediately following the burial, the family will gather with friends for food and fellowship at the Leming House, Community Park, 5951 Buckwheat Road, Milford 45150
