It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael James Kroner on August 23, 2025, in his beloved home of Batavia, Ohio. Born on October 3, 1973, in San Antonio, Texas, Michael lived a life marked by dedication, kindness, and unwavering love for those around him.To many, Michael was not just a skilled Telecom Engineer with a passion for innovation in the IT industry at Anthology, but also a devoted husband, father, son, and brother. He will be remembered for his warm smile, generous spirit, and the countless ways he touched the lives of friends and family. Michael's legacy will continue in the hearts of his loved ones, including his wife, Kelly Kroner; his son, Timothy Kroner; and his parents, Karl Kroner and Nancy Gennette. He also leaves behind his sister, Kimberly Lambert, who cherished their bond.Michael's zest for life was reflected in his love for family gatherings, shared laughter, and the moments spent outdoors. He had a unique ability to bring people together, reminding us all of the importance of connection and compassion. As we think back on his life, we reflect on the values he instilled in his family and friends: resilience, integrity, and the significance of cherishing every moment.
He was active in his church throughout his whole life and played football at New Braunfels High School in New Braunfels,Texas. He had lifelong friends that he made through school and various jobs and loved to stay a part of their lives. He was the support system to his wife when she was undergoing breast cancer. His son was his pride and joy and he loved to spend time talking about Mustangs and offering advise to him. His family was his greatest accomplishment and loved them dearly.
He had a passion for Ford Mustangs and had several in his lifetime and also liked to go fishing when he could. A memorial mass will take place at 11:00AM on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Batavia. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor, remember, and pay tribute to a man whose spirit will forever live on in our hearts. In this time of mourning, we find solace in the memories we share and the love that binds us. Michael's presence will be profoundly missed, yet his legacy will endure in our stories, laughter, and the love we continue to share.
Michael's favorite charity was Holy Trinity Church in Batavia, OH or Knights of Columbus. In lieu of flowers please consider donating in Michael's name.
