Michael Cleveland Mehne, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on November 1, 2026, at the age of 73. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mike lived a life defined by hard work, service, determination, and, most of all, love for his family.

Mike proudly served six years in the United States Navy, including two tours in Vietnam. After returning home, he continued to live a life of service and dedication, becoming a volunteer firefighter with the Union Township Fire Department. Always one to stay busy, Mike was a true jack of all trades. There was never much he wouldn't try to fix, build, or figure out, and he always seemed to find something new to keep him occupied.

He spent 32 years working at Senco Products before retiring. But Mike wasn't one to simply sit still. At the age of 66, he decided to return to school to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Plastics. Through hard work and determination, he accomplished his goal and graduated, reminding everyone around him that it is never too late to learn something new or chase a dream.

Mike had many interests that brought him joy. He was a passionate history buff who loved researching his family roots and discovering the stories of those who came before him. He enjoyed sports, especially bowling, NASCAR, and cheering on his beloved Cincinnati Bengals. He also cherished the time spent with family, whether gathered around a table playing cards, sharing a few laughs, or simply enjoying one another's company. It was often those everyday moments that meant the most.

Mike leaves behind a family who will forever carry his love and memories in their hearts. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Wilma Mehne (nee Wright); his children, Gary (Kristie) Dalton, Brian (Rebecca) Mehne, Christopher (Nichole) Dalton, and Steve Mehne; his grandchildren, Tyler, Zachary, and Brandon Dalton; 11 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, James Mehne, Mary Flowers, and Carol Jean Mehne.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Imogene Mehne, and his sister, Barbara Poole.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home in Milford, Ohio.

Though he will be deeply missed, the lessons he taught, the stories he shared, the memories he created, and the love he gave will live on through the many lives he touched. His family takes comfort in knowing that a life so well lived leaves behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.
