Michael Walker

Michael Walker, age 82 of Cincinnati, went home to be with the Lord on January 18, 2024 at Alois Alzheimer Center in Forrest Park. He was born to Benjamin and Fannie (nee Crumb) Walker in Cincinnati, OH on August 11, 1941. Michael was a proud United States Air Force veteran and earned several accolades during his time in the Air Force. After serving his country in the Air Force, Michael transitioned from military service to civil service as a United States Postal Service employee for 33 years.

He was an outstanding tennis player and painter. He loved dancing with his sweet Libby, going to church, reading his Bible, meeting new people and most of all, he cherished his family.

Loving father of Vivian (Antione) Colbert, Darius Walker, Parrish Walker and Tessa (Patrick) Scott; cherished grandfather of Yonna, Teyah and Sophia; great grandfather of Bryanna, Raiden and Desiree; Dear brother of Anthony Walker Sr. Proud uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his loving wife Elizabeth Vivian (nee Evans) Walker in 2022 after 58 years of marriage. He is also preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ben Walker Jr., Joseph Walker, Ella Louise Segar, Esther Mae West and one sibling who died at birth.

Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 741 Center St., Milford on Friday February 2, 2024 from 1:00 PM until time of funeral service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford, Ohio. Repast will follow at Leming House, 5951 Buckwheat Road, Milford, Ohio.
